very poor view if you are not on the river side

the room is high quality and generous-sized and there are splendid views of the cathedral. the hotel is comfortably located minutes away from mariacka street. it offers very good service. the staff are genuinely helpful and very friendly.

They have an excellent breakfast to be taken at the banks of the river, where you can completely relax.

The lounge needs urgently a brush-up

Generous-sized and gorgeous rooms with big windows. Fantastic and amazing location not far from all shops, markets & tourist attractions, the main city centre, restaurants and the river, and train station, only 5 minutes walk from Old Town: D

Grade and stars are not given for ever. Best hotel also need to be refurbish from time to time.

great view but breakfast confusion

The view from our room was amazing. The staff were genuinely friendly.

It was nice and comfortable hotel. It was noisy, because they are building something near the hotel. It was imposible to sleep after 7 o'clock.

Fantastic location, fine views!

So close to the old city. Staff spoke fairly good English & tried hard to help us organise our washing. Bar downstairs was a great place to wind up at the end of the evening. Right on the river and so close to restaurants & just about everything you would want to do in Gdansk (pronounced darnsk)

No washing facilities on-site. We had to send it away & it took 2 days to come back. Lucky we had time to wait.

The hotel is ideal to explore the city, excellently positioned next to the river with a great view. The rooms are kept spotless as is the rest of the hotel, the buffet style breakfast is ideal for any visitor wishing to have a hearty meal before exploring what beautiful Gdansk has to offer. We will return next year to see what we simply could not fit in over our four day break, thankyou for an enjoyable stay ! I highly recommend the Hanza. Thanks David Norris.

Nothing it was perfect.

Everything! Outstanding breakfast! Beautiful facilities. Fabulous location by the Motlawa River walk. In the center of Gdansk with great touring and shopping. Hotel staff great.

Couples looking for a nice getaway

The staff was really cute, even at 2am! The view from our room was amazing, looking out over the river while we enjoyed breakfast.

Perfect location along the river & close to everything. Great people that worked at the hotel.- very helpful. I had a river view room that was excellent.

The hotel is in an old historic district, but is modern and up-to-date. It has a restaurant, bar, and the room was a good size, and comfortable.

The bathroom. The shower tended to leak all over the floor. The flusher had to be flushed several times. The pillows were a lot larger and fatter than what we were used to, and a bit uncomfortable. We probably could have requested something else.
